Curriculum

Stonehill School is committed to providing all pupils with an exciting curriculum that will inspire and nurture a passion for learning.

Some subjects, like Mathematics and English, are taught daily and as discrete lessons. Other subjects are taught through a themed topic. Each key stage phase (Y1and Y2,Y3 and Y4 and Y5 and Y6) has a different topic each half term. The topic may have a humanities or science focus.

In addition to this, each term the whole school also participates in an Art Week. Each Art Week has a different focus and the children's art work is displayed around school.

Below you will find the curriculum overviews of each year group which detail the learning that will be taking place each half term.

Below you can also find links to individual curriculum pages with specific information and class curriculum maps.
