Eco Council

At Stonehill School, we have an Eco Council. The Eco Council is a group of children who plan and undertake activities to improve the environmental performance of the school.

The Eco Councillors for this year are:

Year 1: Shemaiah

Year 2: Violet 

Year 3: TBC

Year 4: Seth

Year 5: Rosie

Year 6: Jacob

Our Projects 

Spring Term 

This term the Eco-Council decided to help support a charity called Just be a Child.  They work with the Kenyan Libraries Programme to help provide thousands of books to children in Kenya through their Libraries, school libraries, orphanages and other community projects. 

The children at Stonehill school donated nearly 500 books to the charity that will be shipped to Kenya later in the year.
