Autumn term has seen us learn about Florence Nightingale and Mary Seacole and investigate materials and their properties. We developed knowledge of number, addition, subtraction, recounts and poems and we put on a fantastic nativity.
Spring brings many more opportunities to develop our skills and learn new things. We will be focusing on geography within our topic and in maths we will be focusing on written calculations, statistics, time and problem solving. Traditional tales is our English focus and we will also be looking at the book 'Treasure Island'.
All children have Spelling Shed and Times Table Rock Star log ons, so please enjoy these very useful games for practising and refining skills.
Homework will continue to be sent out weekly. Your support with reading at home and homework is very much appreciated.
Before we know it we will be half way through the school year!
