Early Years 'Let's Get Ready for Christmas' Morning

On Friday 3rd December Nursery and Reception joined together to start getting ready for the Christmas festivities!

The children had the opportunity to;

1. Make reindeer food for Father Christmas's reindeer,

2. Decorate a Christmas biscuit,

3. Make a Christmas tree decoration,

4. Make their own wrapping paper.

They also engaged in imaginary role play in the 'Hot Chocolate Cafe', made their own Nativity scene, created Christmas patterns and explored the Winter Christmas table.

We are now ready and looking forward to the next few weeks of Christmas fun!

For the rest of the half term we are learning about Autumn! We have been gathering items from outside to put on our 'Autumn table'. If you find anything your child would like to contribute to our table we would be very grateful.

Autumn Fun

We have lots of 'Autumn themed' activities inside and outside and the children have had great fun on their first day of exploring.

The children were very creative with the play dough and natural resources.

Here are some pictures to see what the children have been up to!

Welcome to Nursery!

Welcome to Nursery. We are looking forward to a year full of fun activities and lots of play! We are particularly keen to learn outside where we have the space and freedom to learn at our best. Please make sure your child has a pair of wellies that can stay at school. We will be outside in all weathers taking risks and getting messy!

Please contact me if you wish to discuss anything.

Keep an eye on this page for photographs, information and ideas for things to do at home.

For now here are a few pictures of some of the places we learn and explore.

Important date: Tuesday 28th September Visit from the Fire Service!!!

Enjoy the first half term in Nursery!
