Welcome to Nursery!
Every Friday a 'Star Learner' is awarded to one child in Nursery. Bobby Bear goes home with that child for the weekend. The children love this.
Bobby has his own suitcase on wheels, his favourite books, toothbrush and his own teddy bear.
Bobby is looking forward to going home with all the children.
This week is 'Just Talk Week' (21st - 27th November). In Nursery we watched 'Feeling Better' on teach BBC. We focused on feeling sad. The children shared with each other their memories about their feeling sad.
We then thought of ways we could make someone happy if they were felling sad.
Here is the clip we watched which sparked discussions about 'sad feelings'.

Welcome to Nursery. We are looking forward to a year full of fun activities and lots of play! We are particularly keen to learn outside, where we have the space and freedom to learn at our best. Please make sure your child has a pair of wellies that can stay at school. We will be outside in all weathers taking risks and getting messy!
Our first topic is 'Me and My Community'.
Please contact me if you wish to discuss anything.
Keep an eye on this page for photographs, information and ideas for things to do at home.
For now here are a few pictures of some of the places we learn and explore.
Important date: Thursday 15th September the children will be choosing a library book to share at home. Please make sure they have a book bag to keep the book safe.
Enjoy the first half term in Nursery!
