Welcome to Nursery

2023-2024

Welcome to Nursery. We are looking forward to a year full of fun activities and lots of play! We are particularly keen to learn outside, where we have the space and freedom to learn at our best. Please make sure your child has a pair of wellies that can stay at school. We will be outside in all weathers taking risks and getting messy!

Current topic is 'Winter Wonderland 'and 'Once Upon a Time'. (Spring 1 2024)

What's next? 'Ready, Steady, Grow'. (Spring 2 2024)

National Story Telling Week!

During this week we listened to and retold lots of stories. The year 5 and 6 children visited the children in Nursery to share stories as well. It was a lovely experience for all the children and something we will definitely do again!

Important dates: 

Every Friday is 'Share and Shine' (Parents visit the class 8.45-9.00)

This is postponed until further notice. 

Every Wednesday Bobby Bear to go home with 'Star Learner'.

Every Thursday to change library books.

Friday 16th February End of Half Term (usual time to finish). 

Friday 1st March visit to Standalone Farm. (Letter with more information to follow shortly).

Bobby Bear!

Every Friday a 'Star Learner' is awarded to one child in Nursery. Bobby Bear goes home with that child for the weekend. The children love this.

Bobby has his own suitcase on wheels, his favourite books, toothbrush and his own teddy bear.

Bobby is looking forward to going home with all the children.
